7.62 High Calibre-FLT

Fairlight released a new PC game 7.62 High Calibre also known as 7.62 MM. This is a pretty average tactical action game from Russian developer 1C Company originally scheduled to Q3 of this year. One of the interesting things about 7.62 High Calibre are very realistic models of over 150 weapons and interesting strategy elements. There’s no protection, just download, install and play it.

Serving as a follow-up to Brigade E5, 7.62 is a tactical action game. A professional mercenary seeks for a Russian “businessman”, who stole a lot of money from his “colleagues”, then hid in a small country of Latin America to avoid inevitable punishment there. Soon the assignment turns into an intense and dangerous adventure, for there are many things that must be kept in mind — intricate political situation, confrontation between governmental military and rebels, not to mention a necessity to choose friends and foes wisely.

Game features:

  • Sequel to Brigade E5: New Jagged Union, the best strategy game according to the GameLand Award 2005, “Best Computer Games”, “GameLand” and “Game World Navigator” magazines.
  • SPM (Smart Pause Mode) battle system combines RTS dynamics with diverse opportunities of turn-based gameplay.
  • Over 150 accurately modeled firearms with possibility for upgrade.
  • Varied ammunition as well as the extensive list of equipment.
  • Non-linear storyline gives you an opportunity to make you own choice – to reach one of multiple endings
  • Over 30 mercenaries.
  • Upgraded graphics engine.

Is that the regular 7,62 and just finally in english or does High Calibre mean its a new addition, sort of like Reloaded was? BTW, its a pretty good game, if youre into squad based military tactics simulations, it has a pretty good diehard fan (modding)community as well.

I don't get all the negativity over it's looks, since when does good graphics = good game?

This is a far step up from the graphics of Jagged Alliance 2 (yes, i know it's a 10 year old game) and if it's even half as good gameplay-wise then this is gonna be AWESOME.

This is excellent, I do not understand all you dudes complaining that Jagged Alliance was crap, etc. It was one of the best games of that era and was really unique.

I am most definitely going to give this a try. Will keep you guys posted on the gameplay, for a small review on the game check out http://www.coolermaster.com.my and type in 7.62 High Calibre in the search box, thanks.

thx. will try it. i grew up enjoing jagged alliance 1 & 2. as fat said good graphics has barely anything to do with gameplay. so, if game offers 40% of jagged alliance gameplay experience that would be wery good.

as for ja series sequel they were making it, but then company filed for bankruptcy, and then developing studio continued work and published hired guns, game that will make you very, very sad if you play it. it is so bad that i was crying while playing it, cause they screwed up just about everything that was making ja series great game. hope this will be better.

Actually, Hired Guns had nothing to do with Jagged Alliance. Strategy First hired the company to make Jagged Alliance 3D, a 3D version of the first Jagged Alliance game, but the deal went off for whatever reasons. After that the company didn't have the rights for any Jagged Alliance material, so they made Hired Guns.

Jagged Alliance 3 is still supposed to be in production, but nothing has been heard about it for a while.

@12: no! jagged edge was "supposed" to be released as ja3 officially, but it's ditched the last moment (thank god) and a russian co. released it under a different name…
even the laptop password in hg:je was the same as ja, remember?
